With the rebuild of our new web-app and “Checkpoint” both being released last month, we’ve finally been able to finish developing one of our most requested features… The Boardingware Android app for staff, students and parents.Our brand new Boardingware Android app is now live and available for you to download today from the Google Play Store and we can’t wait for you to try it out - It’s fast, easy-to-use and just plain awesome.So let’s take a closer look…
Android App for Boarding Staff
Our Android app will give you quick access to all your important student information, so you can easily check up on where your students are whenever you need to. It will also provide you with the power and functionality to:
- Effortlessly stay on top of leave requests and exeats
- Track students sign-in and out activity in real-time
- Manage roll calls and attendance
- Coordinate departures and returns from our new schedule view
- Record, track and organise pastoral care information
- Automatically generate meal numbers for catering staff
- Generate insights into your boarding data
- And much more...
Android App for Students
Students can also use this Android app to login to their own Boardingware account. Making it even easier for them to cooperate with your leave protocols and eliminate friction from your data management processes. Here are some things students can do with our Android app:
- Apply for new leave/exeat's
- View progress of their leave requests
- Created “Saved Leaves” to for regular leave activity
- View personal information
- View and update contact information
Android App for Parents
Now it’s even easier for parents to stay in the loop. With the Android app, parents can login to their own Boardingware account to stay up-to-date with their child’s activity, giving them a greater sense of security and building more trust within your boarding community. Here are some things that parents can do with the Android app:
- Make leave/exeat requests on behalf of their child
- Approve or decline leave requests that require parent endorsement
- View the progress of their leave requests
- View personal information
- View child's leave history
