This event is for:
If you want to reduce absenteeism, you need to identify at-risk students and understand why they aren’t attending school.
But this is difficult, because the factors that contribute to a student’s mental health and their ability to attend school are numerous. How can you find out what factors contributed to poor attendance or grades? How do you discover what issues you need to address in order to improve attendance?
In a school environment, you have the advantage of being able to engage directly with students. But what about when students don’t speak up, are absent or their reasons are not clear?
At this event, you’ll discover
Official speaker and venue announcement to come.
The event will be 4 hours long (incl. a light lunch, networking with Auckland school leaders and Q&A with experts). It will start on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 AM NZST. Because spaces are limited, you will need to submit a seperate registration form for each attendee. If you have a large group you want to bring, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
