Introducing Orah’s new CEO

Orah CEO, Matt Varley

Since our founding over 10 years ago, Orah has been on a mission to make schools safer and more supportive environments for the next generation.  We started in the boarding school industry and currently help all kinds of independent schools account for their students both physically and mentally.

This year, we’ve experienced the highest influx of new schools on our platform ever, and believe we’re on a path to transform the industry in the coming years.  With an enormous opportunity and equally large challenge ahead of us, we believe that we need to lean on the experience and leadership of someone who has seen this journey before and shares our passion for achieving Orah’s vision.

It’s our great pleasure to introduce our new CEO, Matt Varley. Matt will be starting officially as Orah’s CEO from November this year.

For the last seven years, Matt held various senior executive roles  at Xplor Technologies, working in the early childhood education sector. During that period, he led their team to building the leading student information system serving thousands of early childhood centers globally. Matthew also has three daughters of schooling age so Orah’s mission deeply resonates with him at a personal level.

In the coming months, you will hear more from Matt as he connects with our customers and partners. We believe that he is the right person to guide Orah through this next chapter and we could not have asked for a better fit.

The team here at Orah is proud to have achieved what we have so far and are excited to welcome Matt aboard to help us deliver the best possible service to our customers in the years to come.
